A memorable stay in Catania

About a hundred years ago Francesco Guglielmino composed a fragrant collection of dialect poems entitled Ciuri di strata (“Street flowers”).
He was the grandfather of the original owner of the building that houses our B&B.
Ciuri di Strata is located in the center of Catania, near the Baroque city – a UNESCO heritage site since 2002 -, and near the heart of the city and the nightlife.

    10 This was one of our best stays while in Sicily!
☺What a beautiful place with wonderfully accommodating hosts! Allesandra and Giuseppe graciously attended to our every need - even helping us order takeout to be delivered to our room when my partner was not feeling well. Breakfast was especially delicious and made to order. We would love to visit again.

☺Ein wunderbares B&B mit unwahrscheinlich hilfsbereiten, zuvorkommenden Gastgebern!
Es gab mit Sicherheit das beste Frühstück Siziliens! Die Zimmer waren äußerst geschmackvoll, sauber  und gemütlich.
Die Betten können nur als traumhaft bezeichnet werden.
Sehr, sehr herzlichen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt und die Gastfreundschaft an Alessandra und Guiseppe!

    10 ☺Very welcoming proprietors.  We had flight delays and rental car cancelation due to the delay they made arrangements to get us picked up in the middle of the night and helped with alternative arrangements.  The hotel itself is lovely with well appointed rooms and delicious breakfast.

☺ Tutto perfetto. 
Stanza veramente bella e spaziosa. Biscottini e acqua offerti sono stati molto apprezzati. Ti permettono di scegliere la colazione da un menù in modo da limitare gli sprechi, c’è sia dolce che salata ed e’ tutto di ottima qualità! 
La pulizia impeccabile e anche il personale del b&b è super disponibile e gentile, mi sono sentita a casa 🥰

    10 ☺The breakfast and housekeeping were very well organized. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable.

☹You need to climb the stairs to get to the rooms, may not be good for old people or for the ones with back or knee issues, especially with the luggages, as there is not always someone to help you with the luggages.

     This Bed and Breakfast is amazing. The hosts, Allesandra and Giseppe are delightful. They took great care of us, making and serving a delicious breakfast every day and helping us with logistics for our excursions. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully appointed. Highly recommend. You will feel well taken care of!

     Even before we arrived we got great tips and help from Alessandra. She booked an Etna tour for us as well. The room was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was amazing every day and the hosts were very kind and helpfull throughout the entire stay. The location is ideal to explore Catania and to use public transport.

     The host and hostess were so welcoming and had great recommendations of where to eat and what to do in the city. The rooms were beautiful and extremely clean. The location is perfect for anything you want to do in Catania.

     Highly recommend this hotel! My husband and I had a great time staying here for 6 days. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and clean, the breakfast was 5-star and the hosts were amazing, friendly and had provided us with ample information regarding restaurants, where to visit etc.

     A small family-run hotel located in a renovated old building. Excellent location; spacious rooms; very clean; good amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Overall, a hidden gem - one of the best hotel experiences in my life.

     Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, unglaublich nette Hausherren, das Haus mit dem Charme einer längst untergegangen Zeit.
